After a decade of war, browser giants seem to have begun to finally appreciate the value of peace. It was Mozilla's (the open source non-profit organization which created Firefox, Thunderbird ... etc) 15th anniversary on April 2 and looks like IE just sent a birthday cake on twitter.

Some Interesting Mozilla Facts.

Mozilla foundation was founded in 2003 as a spin off from the Mozilla Organization as an entity which could survive without help from its earlier parent Netscape. Most of Mozilla's revenue comes from donations and "Search Royalties". That means Mozilla gets paid for keeping Google as the default search provider in their Firefox browser. Now that's like $300 million for the 2011 contract which is almost 85% of Mozilla's total revenue.
