PageRank named after Larry Page, is Google's link analysis algorithm. This is an exam which Google conducts for all websites around the world and each gets a mark. The marks range from 0 to 10.

Google conducts this exam periodically and changes the marks for each website considering more than 500 million variables and 2 billion terms.

I would have expected Google itself to have passed the exam with 10/10 marks. But looks like Facebook has recently (July 2011) beaten Google in it's own game and established itself to be better than Google. See for yourself.

Google's own Orkut has had very little success in competition against Facebook. Google is coming up with it's new Google Plus as a serious Facebook competitor. Even though under field trial testing, it is already criticized for it's close similarity to Facebook. After all, who needs a copycat even if it is Google.
