In my college days one would probably ask - "Are you on Facebook?". But that question is now more or less obsolete and nowadays the question would be - "Huh, are you not on Facebook?". With over 1 Billion users, Facebook has become the de-facto profile for anybody's online presence.

But the way we express ourselves in an online world differs a lot from the physical world - thanks to the complete freedom and lack of boundaries in the digital world. And most often we forget that our expressions are seen by the people who know us in the real world and whom we are bound by relations - may it be friends, family or colleagues.
